I’m writing in to T.H.A.T Anime Idol with an entry on a particular OST that I particularly enjoy and hope to spread it around….

Anonymous is a Eroge game created by mirage soft.. I don’t know much about Eroges, but I do download their soundtracks as they have a lot of potential, one example is “Anonymous”.

Anonymous OST is based on a techno theme, as most of the BGMs in it have the techno feeling. The OP of anonymous, blood knife works to set the mood for the game and OST. It’s very upbeat, and the mysterious feel is there, syncing with the general feeling of the game itself. The synthetic sounds in the OP builds on to Ryrika’s singing, with their own life in it. Coupled with the irregular beats in the background, it has the tendency to give the listener intrigued.

Moving to the background music, all the background music is titled with only one word, for example, “Active”, “Sunny” or “Psycho”. As stated earlier, the BGMs have a techno feeling to it.

All parts of the background music is well done, the melody is well heard from the background, the bass is well used in each BGM, the electronic instrumentation suits the songs well too rhythm is well used in each ones. The back ground music seems to portray their own titles very well, for example in the track psycho, the company uses high pitched sounds with a constant weird melody to it, adding on to the melody slowly by slowly with other instruments with their own eerie feeling, the main melody being the anchor point of the entire bgm.
