As for the girl Haruno Sakura, like most girls her age, all she can think about is Sasuke. They go on missions, gain new jutsu's (Special attacks they can peform) along with their team leader Hatake Kakashi. A former ANBU (elite ninja) and now a Jounin (high level ninja) when we first meet the kids they are Genin level. Naruto will grow and become less of an idiot, Sakura will become stronger, no longer wanting to be rescued and having to see the backs of her teammates. Sasuke, well, who knows what's going to happen to him. Thats how the series starts off, I won't spoil the rest if you want to check it out. I recommend the manga over the anime. The anime is pretty good, but the manga is better. Sasuke has a goal in life, and its this goal that is set to tear the team apart.
