YAY! CHEERS FOR 100K VISITORS! A pity that I was not the one doing the screenshot since my internet was blown away by the damaged underwater cable (Let us be respectful and pray that the earthquake does not take any more lives and that Taiwan can quickly recover from this disaster). Thanks mth-chan for doing the screenie for me after refreshing like crazy!

Woohoo, after 4 1/2 months of anime blogging, we finally hit one of the most sacred milestones in the anime community. 100k visitors is definitely a great effort from all the authors in this blog, as well as all the readers who somehow enjoy the quirky writing that all of us write. I remember once that I told someone that I might give up anime blogging even before I hit 100k visitors. Well, I still remember because I did not expect the blog to be where it is now. And so fast too!

Call me pessimistic but I felt that I was not a good writer (still don’t think I am a good one) and I wondered with the abundance of anime blogs in the wired world, how can I differentiate myself? I still do not have the answer but I am glad that there are many people here who commented. To me at least, comments are a sign that they enjoy what I am writing and are willing to share their views. I think I have people telling me that my entries make them laugh in real life. I have people telling me that what I wrote was lame. I took all these comments in my stride, knowing that it’s a fickle world out there. Still, everyone’s friendship has helped me quite a bit, and I have to thank my co-bloggers, Dandan, Joo, Alkanphel, Lupus and Reslez (even though she went missing after 2 posts) for this wonderful blog.

Without Dandan (Mr Admin), you will not even see this blog template so he deserves a big round of applause for all the strange requests on the design of this beautiful blog. Joo is often proud that her entries get the most comments and honestly, her entries does get all the most comments. Grumble grumble. Alkanphel often induces One piece love and various random things to tide through the slow days while Lupus is of course writing anything under the sun and eliciting various forms of responses. I am glad I poached him from his blog because there are things that only he can write well.

I started off this blog as the only writer, with Dandan being the designer. I then recruited Alkanphel and Joo, my real life mates (I could not tempt Norrie-chan, the fourth member of the Quacky Quad) to join in the fun. We did not have a focus initally, and I still laugh at my first attempt at doing episode summaries that was pretty pathetic. After Lupus mentioned that he is going to quit his blog, I poached him over happily, with him covering a bit of manga and action that I will never touch. Eventually, we have this blog style where around 50% of the entries are episode summaries and reviews, while 50% are either satire, commentary or editorials.

I also take the chance to talk about some of the small changes we have the past week. If you check the sidebar on the categories, they are more user friendly now. The current watches will be updated around 2 weeks later when the Winter season sets in. Also, we introduce a rotating banner, so just hold shift + refresh to see all the different banners on display!

So thank you so much for the 4 1/2 months that we started off. Impzie here, even though he is particularly annoyed at a certain poll that is running now, thanks all the readers that comes to T.H.A.T blog and let us continue to serve you for as much as I can write something out. BYE!

Edit at 28/12/2006, 1.59pm, GMT +8: My “e-penis” (sorry for the crude term but it’s appropriate here) has grown after I realized that T.H.A.T anime blog has gone into 9rules. I guess T.H.A.T anime blog has proved enough to show the wired world that it is a decent anime blog. Thanks once again!
