hahaha, no problem at blogging it. I do agree that Ryuuki has both the innocence as well as the willingness with Shuurei. However, this feels like an anime where Shuurei will eventually end up with no one at all.

Let’s pray that she does end up with someone. I do agree also that both Sakujun and Seiran are not compatible with Shuurei. Initially, the big brother feeling of Seiran toward Shuurei seems to be working as a form of romance, until this darker aspect of him. It is starting to manifest in him and he will one day lose his way. I do not really see him change or be softened by Shuurei since his motivation is what he sees.

Ya…Perhaps, that adds some depth in Seiran. Ryuuki’s childish behavior do annoy me sometimes though, hahaha~

hahaha, no, i am not the only anime blogger on this (perhaps the only one keeping up to date). PSgels (Star Crossed Anime Blog) is also blogging on this but he is hindered by the lack of subs to do it. Luckily, I understand Chinese and english effectively, so the translation for the summary is generally seamless, except for the name (people who read my summaries realize i always get confused with the names due to a bad hearing problem, tee hee)

That said, I realize that it is more to the fact that Shuurei fears romance that is why she is not into a relationship. I do not really think that governance of a province will be hindered by her falling into a relationship. I believe she is capable enough, but just that her phobia of romance is scarred by the relationship between her mother and father.

That’s my take on it. However, i do see that factor contributing to her reluctance for relationships, even though Sakujun is giving her a stern test on it. Honestly, with his charm and manipulation, few girls can resist that temptation, much less Shuurei who has not really been exposed to this “form of relationship”.

And if it doesn’t end that way, I have a feeling she will be married to Koyou just like what Kurou told Shuurei’s father. It’d be actually just fine since Koyou is freaked out by women and Shuurei is not really interested into any romance. If they do get married, they get to keep their lives just as it is and at the same time, they would be able to satisfy their families’ demands. I still seriously hope she ends up with Ryuuki though I’m more a Seiran-supporter. Those two characters are just perfect for one another.

I think she doesn’t want to experience those feelings a second time in her lifetime and she doesn’t want the person, whom she will devote herself to, experience those same feelings if it was her time.

Yep, i fully agree with thirteen sugars on the part with the Kijin face. I think any normal human will be memerized according to the reaction that the middle-aged fat man got when he saw the face of Kijin. I actually think that they will never ever show it to keep the mysterious part on him but the low tone of his voice and a beautiful face completely does not fit the agenda at all. HAHAHA.

Man, your second paragraph is probably the reason why Shuurei fears it and the story of Bara-hime comes so close to it too ^+^

DARN, after richard, i realize i got kourin’s name wrong again…(i wrote Kaorin, why am i so bad with names all the time!). However, Kokujun’s morbid side freaks me out a lot. It is one thing to see an evil person freaking out like that because well, it is evil. However, seeing a docile and timid man turning all psychopath is just disturbing. The worst thing is that I can imagine him really doing it, which disturbs me even more, even though that will be something that Shunki will have qualms about, i am sure. Kokujun isn’t evil.

Well, I remember in episode 29 that Ensei said how Seiran is so dependent on Shuurei. So true, and how your comment actually reflects it. If Shuurei or someone else goes down, we will see “Dark Seiran” and he will summon Exacaliber or something.

I agree that she will probably end up with no one. But, since most people like all the guys and there are valid hints for most all of them I’m sure people will just pair whoever they like best with Shuurei and have that be their own little fandom. I’m not sure if she will officially end up with anyone at all and I know Seiran will end up ok. I actually do like him with Shuurei and Senya too x) Ryuuki I also like, grah I like em all!

Wow! And here I thought I was the only one who didn’t mind Sakujun X Shuurei. Don’t get me wrong, if Shuurei is going to end up with anyone, I want it to be with Ryuuki, but the whole “Red Riding Hood” aspect to Sakujun and Shuurei is just so darn evilly sexy! >_

This is indeed a great anime. i’ve d/l it and watched 1 to 24 almost three times! First, it was the romantic intrigue of Shuurei & Ryuuki, and of course me hoping that Seiran would step up. Then came Houju… i thought it was incredibly exciting.. since he mentioned he may want to marry Shuurei.

and i’m extremely tickled by Reishin (love this character!). i hope he has more screen time!

and then, blah blah.. story unfolded, it is more mature than just a romantic flick which i feel fushugi yuugi is. SM is a fabulous anime and i’m so glad i found this site! now i know where i can get the latest subbed episodes! the english subs are taking forever to come out!

hehehe, ya. I have been tired of people who apparently get pissed when subs come in slow and all. They always forget something really really important: These subbers do these things voluntarily.
