I read this last night. Man that room with the little kids in it is just beyond messed up and hilarious at the same time.

well yea.. agreed with varg, at least for me I don’t find anything wrong i mean you are going to be concentrating at something else.. not just staring at the freaking wall… lol

The whole world is sick in more ways that one and the Japanese are no exception to the universal curse of humanity. I say good for them that they have decided to go with love theme parks, however I would not be suprised if this in no way helps them out boost their declining birth rate. A culture that cannot even ensure a healthy birth rate deserves to die off since the needed cultural and social changes were obiviously never implemented, ie stagnation.

Prostitution will persist in every society no matter what because enough men are stupidly willing to pay for it, and there are women who voluntarily pick it up as legitimate work. Such people are wopnderfully short sighted and will hopefully die off one at a time in the long run hopefully mired in self inflicted poverty if they can’t be fiscally responsible. Just because this is frowned upon in the west in general that doesn’t mean the Japanese are going to follow suit. Heck they even have literature dedicated to love suicides where the “man,” if such a miserly creature qualifies, commits suicide with his prostitute, not his wife, as a final “acceptance” (I prefer cowardly denial)of responsibility after financial ruin. Even then the suicide it self is so mid numbingly contrived and stupid, they don’t even do it in a manner that ensures a long slow demise thus they have no time to reflect on how dumb they were.

The way I see it there is nothing wrong with what goes on behind closed doors as long as it is consentual. Be that as it may, if either party is unwilling or ignores the perils of not using contraception or something to prevent STDs, as a taxpayer I refuse to see my tax dollars wasted on such creatures. I am willing to subsidize a lot of things, but not stupidity.

In any case this is capitialism at it finest: making a buck no matter the moral panic.

As alkanphel said, Love Hotels are nothing new. It’s a place for couples to go and enjoy themselves. At least you don’t have to do it in the back seat of your car where some cop with a flashlight will come and embarass you. It’s cool that they’re giving more variety to the type of rooms.

And I believe you can’t really go into the room alone; you need to go as a couple, so it’s not really a place where an “otaku would go to jerk off.” For that purpose, there are places like “Hanataro,” which is a sex-shop chain.

Give em’ sometime, in short (and if not yet) there’ll be rooms with pretty, sensual, orgasmic cute anime GUYS on the walls for all the yaoi lovers- HAHA! ha… man, just imagin’ that…

Thought, there’s no much need for that, i mean, the girls normally (and by far)are more reserved in that aspect than the guys. I’m not saying they don’t have wild fantasies or fetishes, but they’re not so “festive” about it, unlike the guys ( and don’t say no!).

Of course, there are exceptions too (and some really funny and weird ones)

And if the “OMG that’s freakin’ disturbing!! stay away from me! *makin’ a cross with his fingers*” thing is the fact of anime characters in the walls of a room of that kind… just get another room if that one don’t please your likes… maybe the one for playing doctor?
