What the hell is wrong with Impz, you say? The fall season is hardly over just yet (we still have a good full month before it ends) but here I am waiting already for the new season to arrive. It is not to say that I have no interest on what happens in this season, but there seems to be quite a few series that I am pretty keen already! Yes, the full list is not out yet but that does not stop me from speculating and loving anime more. By the way, thanks to alkanphel for posting the site for winter listing! He is really the random link master!
Fansub for test wiki has also upped the English version.
Time to start siphoning out the ones that I like or dislike. Some might be ongoing series but the fact that I cannot read any Japanese and depending on the evil google translator means I will get things wrong…sometimes. Maybe more than expected, ~ahaha.

Winter Garden Now we are talking. This seems to be an OVA that will be shown on TBS on December 22th. I always like a snow Christmas setting and with the decent graphics and 2 episodes, you can hardly lose any sleep even if it’s bad. Rozen Maiden: Ouverture This seems to be an OVA that will be shown on TBS as well on December 22th. With Rozen maiden, you have a strong fan base and it has to seriously suck for it to fail. A guaranteed popular series. No story as yet but it seems to be much darker in plot…Which is damn good. I heard the OP for it and it is hauntingly wonderful. Too short though. Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter Inferno Whatever man, I could care less if you wear golden, silver or bronze. The graphics do not interest me at all and it seems to be action. CATBLUE: DYNAMITE A cat like main lead? I do not see the love for it and the graphics style is something I really dislike quite a bit. Hence, with action in the mix, that is out for me. (Remember, i am a shoujo and slice of life fan). The design to me feels like a slightly cheap cel styled drawing and honestly, it does not impress me. Watching: NEVER (Starting on December 22th) |

Saint October This seems to be a devil hunt of three girls who solved grotesque murders and cases involving the supernatural. The design itself looks decent but I seem to be repeating myself quite a bit with the demon story. I am not too sure about this myself…but i will wait to see. Les Miserables~ Les Miserables follows the lives and interactions of several French characters over a twenty year period in the early 19th century that includes the Napoleonic wars and subsequent decades. Principally focusing on the struggles of the protagonist—ex-convict Jean Valjean—struggling to redeem himself, the novel examines the impact of Valjean’s actions as social commentary. Venus vs Virus A girl, after obtaining a necklace (brooch) of power, possess the strength and embodiment of a demon. I Kinda like the idea plus the character design seems to be rather decent. I am not too sure whether I pick this up as it seems to be rather strong action. The two gals look pretty cute too. Tokyo Majin Gakuen Seems to be a shounen series, with the title seemingly like the admission of students with spiritual power and the likes? That’s it for an overview of the series that have a date fixed to them. So cheers ^______^. Hope you get a little bit of each anime series. That said, I did not cover Kamisama Kazoku 2nd season, FLAG 2nd season or Major 3rd season since I have not watched the original seasons. That also means it will be unfair for me to gauge it at all.

Hey Impz, are you certain that’s a 2nd season of Kamisama Kazoku? I thought it was simply a re-run? Good news if it is but I haven’t heard it announced anywhere…???
Anyway not much for me there except Les Miserables (I love long serious animes) and FLAG. I’ll be watching the second season of Himawari! too. Cunning titled Himawari!! lol

I’m especially looking forward to Master of Epic and Les Miserables.

Manabi Straight looks pure awesome (it better be, ufotable still owe me 4 and a half hours back for that Mister horsecrap).. is it the heart warming tale of a bunch of kids on their quest to spread the straight-edge lifestyle throughout their school? MAYBE!
One of the lolis looks exactly like some chick from the mai hime/otome series too, but whoever it is escapes me.

Les Miserables~ kinda reminds me of Le Chevalier so I think I’d be bored watching it
Venus vs Virus and Tokyo Majin Gakuen are probably going to be shounen style animes.
I think Venus vs Virus looks really hot… Other than that, probably only Minabi Straight, which is too cute to pass up. Tokyo Majin Gakuen sounds like it could be good as well, so I might give that a look too.
Kyoshiro Sora appears to be some sort of sequel to Kannazuki no Miko, another yuri series.
because as you know, Chikane is now Kaon, Himeko is now Himiko, and Oogami Souma is now Oogami Jin. Too many parallels, but i hope it’s not a yuri series tho… i like the SoumaxChikane pairing =P
Well, it’s not exactly a sequel, I think. A better description would be an anime with Kannazuki no Miko cameos. I read somewhere that Chikane and Himeko are going to be the bad guys this time.
… No josei. =( Les Miserables has some potential, but other than that I’m not holding by breath. I don’t even consider Master Of Epic could be good after that MOE acronym in the website and of course the fact how Gonzo and good anime don’t fit to same sentence.

As for Les Miserable, I’ve taken in the story, but I’m not sure if its goal is the same/similar social commentary. And for a “thin” book, 52 episodes seems an awful lot.
I’m worried about the ‘YESSSSS’s on Manabi Straight and Hidamari Sketch…I hope you don’t drown yourself if they turn out to be crap
