Lolicon heaven and Idyllic life greatness: Asatte no Houkou is the best of two worlds.

Asatte no Houkou is in no doubt one of the best slice of life series in the anime world of 2006. However, is it a lolicon heavenly keep with the extremely lovable characters or a series that speaks volumes about how a slice of life series should be done?
Both are applicable, to a great degree.
5 commentsBleach Anime Finally Back on Track!!!
Yes people you read that correctly, the Bleach anime is finally getting back on track after that loooong Bounto filler arc!!! This information popped up in the latest Shounen Jump just like when they also announced the end of Naruto fillers. We return back to the manga canon starting from episodes 110 and 111, and the info on the titles are in ANN already. Damn I’m so happy!

Harem Ranger Yuuichi, activate your Uguu, 3..2..1.. power up!

Yes, I simply wanted to post something random, considering that I have suddenly thought of the Power Rangers when I saw the above screenshot. What will really happen if Kanon turns into a Power Ranger spoof? Actually, it is not “if it really happens”. It is in fact the story of a harem ranger, learning how to improve his power through the various senseis in this series. He is in fact the sheer combination of Naruto + Sasuke + Ichigo + Ana Coppola!
Don’t ask why for the last one. It’s stated in the shounen chronicles that a moe~ character must always be added into any shounen post in the Warped Shounen Guidebook1.01v. The guidebook sells for a cheap price of a taiyuki that must be grabbed by stealing it from the evil Master Vile-who-sells-taiyuki-at-the-roadside. Yes, I never watch a single episode of Power Rangers before.
Yuuichi, our great shounen character in Kanon shows you the steps of being the GREATEST HAREM RANGER and of course, he’s over 9000 thousand. Yes, all of you readers have been tricked. Kanon is smartly disguised as a harem series when its essence is truly a shounen series.
Note: Data collected from only episode 13

“We once loved when we were 15. Even though that time seemed to be so faraway now, we used to exist in that time. Then, we were there. We spent our time together. Do you still remember?”
It ended, just as it was at the start. Did you enjoy the journey of Nana, Yano, Takeuchi and Yuri?
I know I did. Let me bring you through the last journey of “We were there”. They were there. For sure.
55 commentsMy anime new year resolutions for 2007 are …

You often hear people having new year resolutions. The common ones that people have are like “I wish I do better in exams!”, “I want to find a new boy/gay/lesbi/girl friend!” or “I want to date that girl who looks so like Tsuruya!”. I will like to remind you that the last thought is definitely not from me, because I personally think that Tsuruya in real life will literally creep me out. Of course, if she’s pretty, it’s a totally different story altogether. However, let me go back to what I want to say. I should really stop digressing what I initally want to talk about because the digression generally turns into a reason about why I digressed and hence turned further into wel…
Ok, anyway, I asked Lupus, one of the co-bloggers in T.H.A.T blog about anime new year resolutions for 2007, considering how we are supposed to be doing anime blogging, and hence live a life that has anime involved somewhat. His answer, in an extremely solemn and serious tone no less, was stated below for your reference.
[Lupus-sol] wait put it in this order
[Lupus-sol] 1) Download more
[Lupus-sol] 2) Watch more
[Lupus-sol] 3) Read more
[Lupus-sol] 4) Blog more
[Lupus-sol] 5) Fap more
What powerful resolutions from a great man of the South (He is geographically located at the center now but who cares about geography!). However, for me, my resolutions are much simpler.

Anime Review: “Kokoro library” is a place that creates small miracles.

Under yet another whim of the moment, I found this show. I have heard quite a few things about the series, with it being either a totally “Boring series” to a “pretty acquired slice of life series”. Which one is it? For a start, I think if anyone thinks Kokoro library is boring, they are probably not too much of a slice of life series. To me, slice of life series should either 1) have tons of drama or 2)This idyllic feeling that makes you yearn for such a life.
An anime that exists in the first realm will probably be Asatte no Houkou while an anime that exists in the second realm will be in my opinion, the best 2006 anime, Aria the Natural. Kokoro library clearly is in the second realm. Even though it does not break into any new ground or fascinate with its themes, it is still a peaceful little piece of anime that will warm your heart at the end. Considering that it is an anime series that opened in 2001, it is quite a powerful series.
6 comments“Mai faked the possession in order to …” – Ghost Hunt Episode 13
No, if you are thinking about something wrong, it is not. Mai’s possession is extremely real and I am just being a totally big tease. However, there is another mystery that is waiting to unveal in this episode. I will present the pictures to show the evidence of my interesting finding.

Do you see any big difference between the possessed child Mai and the normal Mai other than the closed eyes? No, there is no other change, I assure you. I hence conclude with a 90% confidence level that Mai is a small child-like character no matter she is possessed or not. Yes, it is the greatest discovery of Ghost Hunt ever, exposed by the extremely deep Impz. (Yea, right). Well, no more idle randomness, it’s time for the episode summary and thoughts!
