Saiunkoku Monogatari 2nd season announced!!!!!

According to the ATV official website, it is CONFIRMED that Saiunkoku Monogatari will have yet another season when this 39 sitter ends. It will start on April 2007, so for all fans of Saiunkoku Monogatari, this is great news.
There is no information yet on how many episodes this second season will have, but yea, the report is dated 2006, November 20, 17:13, Japan time. So, I guess having a second season is already good enough!
Impz is extremely happy too, because that means he has more reasons to swoon! Cheers!

I was hoping for this since there are enough novels to continue the series following episode 39.
Ditto on the novels, Karura. ShadowDreams has been translating bits and pieces but I would love a fanlation or an actual English release as is happening with Juuni Kokki. Bliss!

I’m truly excited! I’m getting obsessed with the KourinxEigetsu pairing lately and I hope that it develops. I also hope that there will be more seasons later on. I really love this series, it has the right amount of romance, drama, comedy, and action! I’m even glad that it’s next month! If it comes out, fansubs must really HAVE to sub it, or else I’ll die, Lol. X.x

the licensing war appears to be over and Geneon has rights to the first season of Saiunkoku which means WeSuck fansubs has dropped subbing the 2nd season too. So as of right now, no one is subbing it, and no one probably will…

I was hoping to watch the whole complete series in subbing first and see if it’s worth buying it when it gets license, but it’s a shame… I’ll just stop watching this series, but then again if other fansubs are willing to subs the 2nd series I’ll be grateful. Watching the subs and waiting for the Series coming out in the US.

SaiMono’s one of my favorites! Four Leave Clover is fan-subbing and already the 6th episode is out! Yippee! As for the raws, I think 23 is out on Veoh. Anyone know of a good website with a great collection of image galleries?

i agree with comment 31, i tripped across this anime by looking for japanese anime from the feudal times, this series has not been as thick and richly layered, but from the first opening and closing song i’ve been hooked, SaiMono san, Arigato, please don’t get tried on your fans , i for one am willing to wait for your best for such a wonderful series, May God Bless You
