i love this site. it is one of the few sites that let anyone leave a comment. now i just have to say something about the universal question about yondaime being naruto’s dad and the whole mystery of his mom. first off i dont believe any of it anymore. if yondaime was his dad why would no one tell him? like seriously can you actually come up with a descent answer. and dont tell me that naruto didnt want to know cause thats crap. so would people stop coming up with stupid false evidence. but if you still are a believer than cool. now for his mom. SHE IS DEAD! if she were alive why would she just abandon naruto? i know that youre saying well maybe she didnt want to deal with naruto and the kuybi but god aint that just a spoonful of sugar she must have been a thoughtful mom. plus why would yondaime be with a girl like that anyway (if you still think that he’s his dad.)? jiraiya hints in episode 90 that he was very polite and smart. not exactly the type of guy to have bad judgement. i mean he was a hokage for crying out loud! so his mom is not anko or tsunade or anyone else that is alive in the show. oh and same goes for his mom as for his dad. someone would have told him. so i hope that you dont hate me for saying this i really do hope that im wrong and yondaime is his dad but that doesnt seem very likly to me.

Naruto’s mom is dead because the manga said so. It is in the very first chapter. -_-

@na2niet, its fanart someone drew of Naruto. So its their interpretation of what an older him might look like.

They have modeled him on the Yondaime, or Fourth Hokage. Many believe that the Yondaime is in fact Naruto’s father. Naruto is an orphan as is Sasuke.

In the brief outline of Naruto I gave you earlier, the current Hokage is the Sandaime or Third Hokage. He resumed his position after the Fourth was killed sealing the Kyuubi (nine tailed fox demon) inside of Naruto when he was a baby.

Sorry that is something else about the show I forgot to add, Naruto is one of a select few who have a demon of sorts sealed within them. For example Gaara of the Sand has Shukaku inside of him.

I think the 4th is Naruto’s father. Like what was stated earlier: Why would he put a demon in a random child. Also theres the resemblance. As to why no one told him. Think about it Konahamaru is called the honorable grandson, his mother was probably called the honorable daughter. The third probably didn’t want him to go through that. Naruto was probably given’ his mothers family name.

To the ones who don’t believe that The Fourth could be Naruto’s dad: I think that the reason Naruto wasn’t told was because they didn’t want him to get a swelled head. By telling him that his dad was one of the great Hokage’s, it would have made Naruto sort of cocky. They wanted him to learn his strengths on his own. His mom I think is dead. She died protecting the village from the fox demon.
