Ok, from the first episode, I have watched quite a few series from available sources. There are already a few series that I know I will blog at all costs, some are suspect and some might be dropped if they do not buck up by the 2nd episode (maybe). Do note that some of the summaries in this blog like Deathnote, D gray-man, pumpkin scissors and the likes are from my co-authors, and I have absolutely no interest in action genres. Hence, it is not included in this list. I assure you that Dan dan or Mr Admin will blog on the series probably. He seems to be really interested =/

Now to start the brief appraisal of the various series that I have watched. Just a note that all shows are in favorite order. Hence i will be more likely to blog on Red garden than otome, and otome rather than happiness! So yea.

Definitely blogging

1. Asatte no Houkou – It is the series that impressed me the most out of the various series I have watched. Nice complex character development, changing of roles, wishing stone and the effects it will bring. J.C staff is working on this and I must say that this looks to be a serious drama/romance hit of the fall season if they keep up with this same mood. It has a very strong premise and I can be sure that it will work very well.

2. Kanon – Hot fan favorite and it is not hard to see why it is so impressive. Beautiful graphics with a very strong story plot from the makers of Key. Key also made AIR, which is a series that touched me to tears easily. I like the character design and most of the character for now are pretty likeable and I want to see what will happen in this Kanon, a remake of 2002.

Contemplating…Strongly

1. Red garden – This is definitely not in my plans at all. I was bored while surfing for anime to watch for the coming season. When someone in irc mentioned that it is hideous, I decided to download it just to see how bad it is. I was told that the character design is totally awful. What a surprise it is not. It has tons of elements to make it a good hit. Good thriller moments, mysterious incidents and leaving the audience on a suspense cliffhanger all in the first episode. If this is not good, i have no idea what is. A very strong contender to go up the “definitely blogging list”.

2. Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru – I laughed because the whole thing is so silly and fun. The fact that I enjoyed the characters and the OP and chibi stuff is very amusing makes it a good balance for comedy in the light of 2 serious drama that I am picking up, like Asatte no Houkou and Kanon. So yea, i need something silly to balance all the drama elements in my to-blog list. The reason why i put this under contemplating is because of….

3. Happiness! – ..Happiness of course. I really like the light hearted feeling that is with this show. Of course, Jun is a great pull with his form of humor and the fact that he’s so cute. I really like this show and it gives me quite a bit of laughs, especially when Jun appears. Magic girls always work for me too.

Hmmm…Should I blog this?

1. Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~ – Hmm, the first episode did not impress me as much as it should. I did not like the unneeded fanservice in the show and I feel that there is some mystery with the gift and eternal rainbow that I am pretty interested in. Not too sure, since I do not see any strong characters that I might enjoy, other than Riko. Perhaps, i will stick on another 2 more episodes before deciding at the very least. I pray that i will stick on with this.

2. Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Crescent Love – FFF? Hehe. Well, honestly, the story is not too strong. Even with its cute chibi moments, I am geninuely not sure whether I am going to stick on this show at all. It has been honestly a little disappointing to me but the strong lead (Feena of course) might be a reason why I will still blogging this. However, I am not sure yet.

Interested but hasn’t watched

1. Ghost hunt – I heard about this from some blogs and it is another work by J.C staff if I did not get this wrong. The premise of ghost hunting is pretty interesting and I must say that I might be tempted to blog this if I can somehow find a sub for this somewhere, somehow.

2. Bartender – After JW showed me the trailer for Bartender, it seems to be an episodic themed anime. I am usually intrigued by such themes, especially since the slant in this show is so unique. The fact that the show opens on my birthday means it deserves some queer attention. Might blog this. Watch THAT for this.

3. Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto – Samurai Check. Magic check. Oriental Historical settings check. Fighting check. Realistic fights check. I AM IN! Darn, now just to find a sub for it …

NAH, unlikely time

Note: These series did not warrant even a review/overhyped/overblogged. Sorry.

1. Negima! – Sorry, no way. Even though it’s a remake, I still do not like it. Somehow, it is just that feeling that I get from it that did not have the good vibes. So no, no way and I am sure that people will blog about this. So yea, no Negima here at least from me, unless my co-authors have any interest to blog it. I don’t.

2. Deathnote – No interest absolutely. It will be overblogged/oversubbed etc. So get the news somewhere, probably from Mr. Admin who said he has interest in blogging it.

3. D Gray-man – I watched this and did not like it. Mr. Admin did though, so watch for him to continue his work for the episodes.

Yep, that’s it for my mini review. I might download a few more animes for variety but this is probably the stable diet for this season. Of course, I will not forget about Bokura ga ita as well. Saiunkoku Monogatari has been dormant for a while due to the fact that I feel a bit overawed by the series to blog an episode summary for it. I might just do thoughts on each episode though. I don’t know. We will see.
