I like to play with you too, Rika-chan! <333333333.

Ok, not that kind of game where you pierce holes right through my body. No thanks.

And not a hentai kind of game. I am no paedophile.

Never mind, i am not going to try explaining.

...Well, i like the ending. I do. It is perhaps a nice concluding arc to end off this series, with a rather well, good ending compared to most of the other arcs. I mean, seriously, considering the amount of blood and death that was spilled in the various arcs, this was the slightly more bloodless arc, with no one really turning psycho except the beautiful and extremely cute Rena. Her totally insane moves and cleaver attacks rock seriously, and we have a happy ending.

What's there not to like?

So for the brief summary of this episode, Rena traps the whole group of students, distracting the only teacher in the school. The police were contacted and arrived to the scene and was informed by Rena that the school will blow up at 7 pm as she had readied two attacks (an old school time bomb and pouring gasoline all around the area) at that time. Keichii eventually figured out where she planted the bomb, as well as getting the lighter away from Rena after some help from Satoko and Rika.

It seemed that the time bomb was at the rooftop of the school and with Rika trying to delay time for K1 and Satoko being the trap master to solve where the bomg was, K1 finally reached the rooftop. He eventually managed to stop the time bomb just before it hits zero seconds (remember, this is fiction, guys) and K1 saves the day…

For now.

Rena then came onto the rooftop, challenging K1 for a duel. As the fight progresses, it seems that Rena has regained a bit of her sanity as they talked while fighting. K1 wanted Rena to be his personal maid if he won the battle (wow, when you are trying to kill the hell out of your friend…) and Rena said she wanted K1 to do the same too of sorts except the maid part. If she said the maid part, i will go @_@;;;..Eventually, Rena won the battle but realized what she did as she did not kill K1 but instead went into his arms for comfort. She realized that somehow, she had stopped trusting her friends and regretted everything she had done, like hitting my cute and kawaii Mion on the head.

———————————————–

Well, if I have any qualms with it, it is the fact that I have to see my poor and abused Mion being abused once again in this. I mean, the last arc, we had Shion doing all that crap to her and eventually dump her down to die in a way that she did not even deserve at all. Even though I am glad that Shion had undressed Mion in such a way in the previous arc that her melons were about to spill out, it was still painful seeing my green-haired beauty suffering that much pain.

It’s painful as a fan of green-haired gals being abused right in front of my eyes.

However, I do like the slightly light-hearted approach to this arc. Yes, I actually used the word light-hearted for this show, because the violent and psycho parts were not overplayed in this arc. Also, the fact that this becomes a sort of a game (remember how Keichii fought with Rena in the first episode of this arc) meant that it becomes less serious.

In essence, the whole show went like fricking high for me during the first two arcs. It then lost some gas and failed to capture my attention before driving back with some style in the last arc. I think Rena is really one of the best characters, especially with the constant scratching due to the “maggots”. That was a great touch in my humble opinion.

A decent series, especially since it attempted to twist your mind with the last arc. I liked it and I will leave you with the glorious attack of Mion in this last episode. So long, Higurashi….

P/s It seems that there will be a special or OVA for the last two arcs. So wait for the “last mystery” to show itself.

Are you kidding? It’s not a good ending O.o
If you hadn’t noticed the plot it’s an “endless June” plot. When Rika’s voice changes it’s because she’s passed this so many times! When she asked the mister she doesn’t wanna die, it’s not that she can see the future, it’s that she already died so many times!

And at the end, we see nothing was solved, June came back and this time Oishii-san asked for her to identify the 2 dead people. Forgot their names.

So nothing was solved, everything is the way it was, and again people will die throughly and throughly. Even after Rena understood about her friendship. That didn’t really help. Oyashiro-chan is going “Haha” from above and laughs at Rika. I bet Keiichi-kun forgot all about what happened, too.

Where’d you hear about the OVA? I heard rumors, but no confirmations.
