That is also why I hate Yano so much because it is so real. If i feel nothing, then bokura ga ita will not be as impactful as it is. So, i guess i can see why some protect Yano. I am however biased. But he tried to see what reaction Nana will have if he does tell her the truth and she freaked out a little...almost denying it completly like it would be the most horrible thing to even imagine. But it happened. So I can totally understand Yano being a coward and not wanting to tell her. This is a teenage romance, not every decision you make when you're a kid is a right one, and sometimes you can't help being hurt. I wish Yano and Nana learn to trust each other and love each other in the end.
