You should really snap out of your love for Yano and go along with Takeuchi instead of the jealous-filled vinegar pot called Yano! Arghh, it infuriates me just to see that stupid Yano bullying and making Nana cry all the time. Sigh, if I was Takeuchi, i would definitely have more guts and chase Nana instead.

ARghhhh!!! Why!

Jealousy is a really dangerous thing to play with. It is particularly apparant in this episode. where Yano really went completely transparent with his jealous side. I must say that even I have to admit that I am starting to hate Yano. I really wish Takeuchi would be more aggressive and try to steal Nana away from that cursed Yano. I know it will not happen for sure but I just wish for a Takeuchi X Nana ending for the fun of it!

Never mind, i will complain more later but this episode deals with Yano being jealous and overly obsessive with Nana when it came to other guys. The photo also played a part as we started with the scene of Nana not knowing how to return the photo that she took from Yamamoto’s poetry book.

Episode summary

Nana was thinking why the picture had Yano inside and she was worried that Yamamoto would be angry if she discovered it was her who took it. Yamamoto, on the other hand, was trying to find the photo, searching around in the rubbish bin (in case anyone threw it away). Yano came over to borrow Nana’s english book and Yano noticed that Nana was being a little uneasy. He then reminded once again not to hide anything from him as he took her book.

Nana then realised that Yamamoto’s sister was inside the picture and Yamamoto had it not because Yano was inside. It all made sense to her but she realised that the photo was with Yano. As the photo dropped out, Yamamoto saw it and requested to get it back. However, Yano was shocked as he tore the photo off, leaving it and asked Yamamoto whether it was some sort of harrassment.

As Nana was up at the school’s balcony to ask whether Yano had seen the photo, Yano told Nana that he gave it back to Yamamoto. He was clearly mad at Nana for taking the photo and told her that she should not snoop around in other people’s affairs, leaving her completely speechless. The scene then changed back to Yamamoto who was crying as she remembered the good and bad times with Yano. She clearly loved him as the tears continued to flow.

Nana went out with Mizu-chan on a Sunday, as Yano was clearly still angry with her. Nana clearly looked down as Mizu asked why Nana did not go out with Yano today. She had no answer until a phonecall came and it was from Yano’s phone. It was in fact Yano’s friend who was in Takeuchi’s house as they were holding a birthday party for Takeuchi. He then invited Nana and Mizu-chin to have a hook-up party.

Yano then took over the phone and told Nana that she did not need to come. He then hung her up, causing Nana to completely snap. Of course, we know that Nana never really had a very good temper, as she did go over to Takeuchi’s house just to spite that son of a bitch of a Yano. The friend was offering the seat that was beside Yano but she refused. It was clear that Yano was annoyed with his face clearly showing his apalled look.

Yano then spoke in a rather annoying fashion whether he should leave now, making Nana even more angry. Nana had in fact bought a present for Takeuchi, who was a really strange looking sea-urchin handphone accessory. Everyone present was shocked from the gift because it looked pretty queer. However, Takeuchi liked it and thanked Nana for it, and Nana was very happy that Takeuchi liked it as she took a long time to choose the gift.

Yano was clearly jealous now and he eventually threw the handphone accessory out the window after being provoked by Takeuchi. Nana, in anger, splashed the water in her glass at Yano and told him that the world did not revolve around him. She then stormed out of the house, with Yano chasing her. As Yano gripped her shoulder, she shrugged him off and told him to get lost. The look on Yano’s face said it all and Nana took a softer stand, telling him that what he did was wrong.

Yano was by now very cold and said that he did not need anything that was not him. Nana started to question and asked whether she was not needed and Yano asked her whether she knew the feeling of trusting someone and then betrayed. She would never understand, he said. Nana felt that Yano was not being fair, simply because she never felt that way before and would not understand that pain. Yano then showed that he never threw it away but was simply jealous (he threw a peanut). He said he wanted one hp accessory, even though it was lame and all because he did not like Nana to be friendly with other guys when he was around. At the end, he said that he loved Nana and told her to never go anywhere.

The scene changed as we see Yamamoto fixing the photo and looked on. The next day, Takeuchi apologized that he was unable to find the handphone accessory but Nana gave it to him. The charming smile when he was glad to receive the gift from Nana made her blush and her heart beat way faster. She wished Yano would get some pointers from Takeuchi. He also mentioned that he would not use the accessory as he feared Yano might get jealous.

As Yano was continuing to flirt with Nana in his house, she started to relate him with a 5 year old kid that was always trying to touch her. Yano’s mom then came in to tell Yano that a girl came.

It was Yamamoto.

“Don’t you want to know why Onee-chan was sitting on Kagama’s car?”

Thoughts

You really have to be a saint to like Yano. That idiot is trying to control every single aspect of Nana and he is clearly a bloody vinegar pot that has expired vinegar. That is also why it is so darn sour. I really absolutely hate Yano so much now because he is really unworthy of Nana. I knew that Nana would snap and I guess she did snap, even though it is rather mild considering that she did really nothing much.

Takeuchi, on the other hand, is so perfect that I wished that he can be a little more selfish and try to steal Nana away. Yamamoto’s reaction was the first time that we have seen her break down in a moment of weakness. It is more than clear now that she is hiding all that feeling of love toward Yano and denying herself. It is really painful for me to see so many girls hurt by the bloody jerk, Yano.

I have said before earlier that I think what Yano needs as a girlfriend is Nana. Now, the feeling i get is that having Nana is too much of a comfort. The more Nana tried to accomodate him, the deeper he seems to slip into a state of false security. The truth is that even though Nana kept trying to heal his heart, he is hurting her so badly that it might no longer be enough to save her. Her kindness seems to me to be a liability now to protect him.

He is not even willing to try and trust Nana. He does not even trust her and continues to impose more restrictions (don’t be nice to other guys; stay together with me always) that I felt was pretty manipulating as a guy who should believe in his girlfriend more. Even though I know that Yano is feeling that pain of betrayal, he should really trust Nana more. If he carries on, Nana will one day break. I am sure that will happen in the later episodes.

Dammit, I dont want that day to come.

Anyway, next week seems to be the preview of Yamamoto’s revealing and trying to spoil the relationship between Nana and Yano. Nana also seemed to be more interested in knowing the truth of the issue. Can’t wait, there is more and more drama!
