Aria the Natural: ~Vocal Song Collection~
All thanks to Otakuism, I have stumbled around Nipponsei and found myself a paradise of OSTs. I generally loved OSTs a lot, as anime music tended to have rather good quality.
For this, I decided to do a little review of this compilation of songs from Aria the Natural OST. Aria, as you know, is one of the anime that I seriously fanboy a lot. The songs are generally calming to the nerves, giving that strong feeling of tranquility and comfort that the anime brings. The songs in anime often reflected the mood which the series was aiming to portray and that airy feeling, the kind of music aimed to do what the anime does: to give you that dreamlike imaginery that makes you feel good.
The cover is of Athena singing her canzone (italian for song) while the three juniors (Akari, Aika and Alice) looked on as she sang. The cover clearly portrays how the anime is taken. It is definitely a relaxing, chilling effect that Aria is trying to put forth to the audience of this OST.
They are so many good songs, like how Undine portrayed that soothing, calming feeling that we all learned to relate about Aria. Dekkai Shiawase Desu was one of the most amusing songs that I had ever heard in my life. Listening to Aria doing his little cute voice and the “day kai” (really) that Alice always say is inside. It is so cute, with the “day kai, day kai”. I really loved the cute song, cos the song is in fact swimming in my head like right now.
A really nice album and I love it much. There is no one song that I dislike at all. Just great

Way too little plus marks. When I listened Dekkai Shiawase Desu I wondered why you haven’t posted a fanboy post yet. That song must be 6 minutes awesomeness to Alice-fan like you when even I find it so cute. =)
I actually tested how well this album put me into sleep, it was more effective than 10 sleeping pills. I demand album with full piano versions about all songs!

huh can’t edit comment. oh well. Anga there is an Aria piano album called ARIA ~Piano Collection~ Stagione. Try Nipponsei for it.
I tried to listen that, those were bit short songs. Full length at least for opening and ending songs should about 5 minutes, but it’s mostly just little over 2 minutes. Or is it just how piano collections have always been?

Air Gear vs. Eureka 7
Thinking about getting into a new series…only have enough time for one other besides Utuwaremeno…so Air Gear or Eureka 7? Thankies~! ^.^
Maybe the producers though it would be too boring for the whole thing to be made of five minute plus piano solo’s. That is a shame though. Seeing how popular ARIA is maybe we will get a full length CD at some point.

I only know that eureka 7 is really well-liked compared to air gear, which is probably slightly more acquired taste..Sorry, dan dan T_T

I personally like the Hikigatari version of Undine and Euforia. Also the Athena’s version of Second Season (You know, listening to these at 2 in the night really help you work really well – or put you to sleep very well – -’)
hahahahaha, actually, my second favorite song is symphony. I like the wispy feeling that it brings with you and it does get me to work.
In fact, i stay more awake listening to aria. However, i am an oddball cos heavy metal makes me feel like sleeping (i hate heavy metal btw)

Air Gear and Eureka 7 are quite different but I would suggest watching Eureka 7 since it’s complete and quite goo to boot. You’re better off reading the Air Gear manga.
